You may be looking for support with
What is happening now—and what keeps returning.
You do not need to know whether an experience “counts” as trauma or arrive with a diagnosis. We can begin with what you are noticing and what has become difficult to carry alone.
Trauma and trauma-related patterns
Experiences that continue to affect safety, trust, identity, closeness, emotional regulation, or the way you respond under stress.
Depression, existential despair & suicidal thoughts
Meaninglessness, disconnection, grief, fear of death, or thoughts about not wanting to be here that need a place for honest discussion.
Communication, boundaries & relationships
Difficulty expressing needs, navigating conflict, trusting your perceptions, or changing patterns of withdrawal and people-pleasing.
Perfectionism, burnout & difficult emotions
Exhaustion, self-criticism, shame, anxiety, or the sense that achievement has come at the cost of connection with yourself.
This is an outpatient practice. When someone needs crisis stabilization or another specialized level of care, additional services or referrals may be recommended.
We may work well together if
You're searching for a place to practice something different.
The structure of therapy depends on what you need and prefer. We can work openly and reflectively, use more explicit goals and practices, or combine both. We will revisit whether the work is helping and adjust when needed.
What our work may include
01
Clarifying goals and tracking change
Defining what you want to understand, feel, or do differently and reviewing progress together.
02
Mapping patterns and their origins
Connecting present triggers and responses with trauma, attachment, relationships, and earlier experiences.
03
Working with thoughts and internalized beliefs
Examining shame, self-criticism, inherited expectations, and the stories that keep a pattern in place.
04
Building emotional capacity
Using mindfulness, grounding, distress-tolerance, and emotion-regulation strategies when useful.
05
Practicing communication and boundaries
Preparing for difficult conversations and experimenting with clearer ways of expressing needs and limits.
06
Translating insight into action
Taking gradual behavioral steps, trying between-session practices, and learning from what happens.
What it might feel like to work together
Safe and nonjudgmental does not have to mean passive.
My style is warm, direct, curious, and reflective. I listen closely, ask clear questions, name patterns that may be hard to see, and use humor when it helps create room to breathe. I pay careful attention to experiences that are difficult to put into words. Part of our work may be finding language for emotions, conflicts, and parts of yourself that have felt fragmented, unacceptable, or pushed out of awareness.
I work from an integrative, relational, trauma-informed perspective, drawing mainly on attachment, psychodynamic, and existential ideas. I also use mindfulness, emotion-regulation skills, and gradual behavioral changes when practical support is helpful. Culture, identity, power, and internalized expectations are considered, without assuming one theory explains everything. **** be sure to note how my research on internalized oppression influences my clinical work.
